@timkmak Ships have no choice but to drop anchor. Once war declared, insurance companies no longer cover ships and their cargo.
Closing Bab Al-Mandab by Houtis still allows ships to go around Africa to reach destination, but for Strait of Hormuz, it is a dead eand with no other route possible to bypass the war zone.
US oil compamies will greatly profit from higher price of oil until Trump decides high price of oil becomes ratings/political issue. Before midterms, price will magically drop.
