Actually, this is as good a place as any, since the fedi tends to be full of people much more kind and mature than anywhere else so here comes my question.
Miguel's mother (his only family) is getting risky brain surgery.
They are VERY close, he cooks for her, cleans their home for her, does the groceries for both. He literally measures (this shocked me when I discovered it) the salt, sugar, etc of all of her food.
What can I do to make Miguel's next few days as comfortable as possible?
