1am Monday morning, snowed in until Wednesday earliest, and I will just take this opportunity to prod strangers on the internet:

Stop fuckin' meme-ing Goldman's "The Princess Bride" movie and just read _The Princess Bride_.

It's thicker, funnier, kinder, sadder, sweeter, adult-ier, and altogether better than the movie.

I love the movie. And Goldman wrote the screenplay. Read _Adventures In The Screen Trade_ to learn why they're different.

But the novel is so very much better.
