I think the federal Democrats are trying to present a "Look forwards, not backwards. Return to normal." face to potential voters.
I'm guessing they are deliberately avoiding looking like they'll "go after their opponents once in power".

I don't know what polling /focus group/donor feedback they're holding. Though "look forward, return to normal" has been tried by Obama and Biden and it failed, resulting both times in Trump.

FedEx is suing the Tangerine Tyrant's administration at the US Court of International Court for repayment of tariffs declared illegal by the US Supreme Court last week (along with a lot of smaller firms).

How this plays out may well be interesting, as Trump is seeking (re)impose these tariffs by different means, the money being claimed has already been 'spent' (in a sense) & Trump may well turnaround to take revenge on FedEX.

It may get very messy!

In another indication of the shifts in US policy practice under the Tangerine Tyrant, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing a Coca-Cola bottler for running a females only networking event;

white men who feel they have been discriminated against at work are also being invited to launch companies with the EEOC.

And of course this choice of cases to follow distracts from other discriminations that are now being down-played or ignored.

Every accusation made by the Right in opposition is as a confession of what they will do in power.

And, this is never truer than in the US Right's claims & complaints about free speech & the media;

before the triumph of the Tangerine Tyrant, it was all about views being stifled & free speech being constrained.... but the Trump administration is now well into a major campaign of attrition against US First Amendment rights.

So, free speech for them, but not for anyone else?

I don't know about you but I'm getting pretty sceptical of the commentariat's attempts to 'sane-wash' the Tangerine Tyrant's (so-called) policy pronouncements.... might it just not be easier to generalise & say he's an unpredictable, power-crazed, economic naif whose only interests are self-aggrandisement & self-enrichment.... there is *no* sane public-facing aspect to the rule of his Court!

You likely already suspect that the Court of the Tangerine Tyrant is closing down official information sources which might be used to interrogate the claims of the administration, but quite how wide spread this attrition is has (at lest from this side of the Atlantic) not been so clear.
