This #Caturday is my annual reminder post for holiday plants that might be toxic to your kitties! 🪴

SUPER dangerous, both require immediate calls to poison control and emergency vet visits:

Lilies: the whole plant is toxic: flower, stem, pollen. Even ingesting only a small amount can lead to acute kidney failure.
Yew: also immediately life threatening. There is no safe amount.

Less dangerous, but maybe keep out of where pets can reach them:

Holly: upset stomach, mouth damage from the points on the leaves.
Poinsettias: upset stomach, mostly.

Every pet's friend Chewy has made two quick tables: unsafe plants and their severity, and safe alternatives.
