GB Energy have scaled back by around two thirds the amount they were expected to spend on local community power projects (such as solar & heat pumps); about 2.5bn less.... but they're are pushing £2.5bn more into modular nuclear plants.

So less money on an efficient green local technology & more on a white elephant cooked up by the nuclear lobby.

Another betrayal of localism!

"Two New York lawmakers on Friday announced that they are introducing a bill that would impose a three-year moratorium on data center development. The announcement makes New York at least the sixth state to introduce legislation putting a pause on data center development in the past few weeks—one of the latest signs of a growing and bipartisan backlash that is quickly finding traction in statehouses around the country.

Access to solar energy is extremely limited compared to the massive need. Many families cannot access it at all.

When there is no sunshine, nobody can use their phones or any other electric devices. All other electric infrastructure has been destroy.

This is the reality of daily life here, where even charging a phone has become a daily struggle.
