A message to our political leaders:
You don't need to listen to your critics who claim the Tangerine Tyrant is not our friend... just read what his administration says in a report (explicitly endorsed by the President) says.
Its time to realise that Atlanticism is a false promise that leads only to disruption & political chaos caused by the normalisation of racism.
However, whether our political class care is another issue, though.
@ChrisMayLA6 I'd really like to see a trade agreement without the US.
It would be interesting to see how many of our needs that could be fulfilled by trading, without tariffs, between the EU, canada, south america, australia, japan, south east asia, and all the other countries Trump has pissed off.
If that could happen, then the true damaging effect of the tariffs would be experienced by the american people.
yes, and I think, that may well slowly be developing, as major states start to pivot away from the US
@ChrisMayLA6 Let's hope so. If it happens, it will be a great educational opportunity for Trump, realizing what science has proven ages ago, that tariffs in the long term, only hurt the people in the country lvying them.

Atlanticism is only a false promise if you are considering geopolitical security, it delivers perfectly well for the financial wellbeing of parties and politicians.
