I’ll recreate a summation of what I think is or should be in it: Democrats lost miserably to the most inept, narcissistic, egomaniacal presidential candidate in US history and to a fascist Republican Party because we focused too much attention on fundraising and piss poor messaging. This should never have happened. We should have acknowledged the pain voters felt from inflation. We ran candidates because the party elites hand picked them, not because Democratic voters wanted them. We put way too much emphasis on social issues without educating voters on what those social issues meant. We came across as preaching and browbeating voters and not empathizing with their pain. In short, we fucked-up. Anyone have anything to add?
