Emma Monks (of Emma Monks Debunks) has a great post on how the Daily Telegraph (presumably on a 'quiet news day') took some past reports on diversity in the countryside, and through selective quotation & misrepresentation generated a right wing horror story that rippled out across the Right media.

Its worth reading through Monk's analysis just to see how the Right manufacture issues for them to generate outrage around... pretty instructive stuff.
