I took a short break from the daily music posts, but I'm re-starting this morning.
The next series of posts will be a series of my favourite tracks from the 80s nights I DJ from time to time.
The 80s, often maligned in hip music histories was full of great music, and so my (albeit personal & skewed) sampling of the decade gets under way today.

@ChrisMayLA6 like every decade, there was lots of dross in the 80s, but also some absolutely amazing music
and (hopefully) that's what I'll be listing - the 80s night I do demonstrated to me actually I both more great records in the 80s than I had initially recalled
@ChrisMayLA6 The '80s covers the entirety of my teens, so it's obviously the peak of musical history as far as I'm concerned 😉
Prefer the second half of the decade, because I was a late bloomer 😄
I'm likely skewed to the earlier part of the decade but will be trying to have stuff from across the who ten years
