He was always a right-wing apologist. On everything. He enabled an entire generation of the worst politicians and the worst ideologies. He is responsible, as much as they are, for death and war and misery.
As all such pundits are, he was tossed aside when the party moved too far to the right for him.
@rbreich I I lost interest in his opinions about ten years ago as he appeared to lose his edge and went nostalgic. JMO
