@timkmak in Orban’s mind, Ukraine is a threat (as well as the EU with plans to help Ukraine) and Russia is the savior of the Hungarian economy. In reality, the main threat to the Hungarian economy is probably Orban himself, because he is supporting an economy that is profitable and depends on the supply of cheap resources from Russia. Obviously, Orban will say and do everything possible to stay in power, and Ukraine is the easiest target around that can be blamed.
I'm curious what Austria has to say, as the transport started there!
Does Orban think Ukraine has nothing else to do but fix the pipeline??

On March 5th, Hungary detained two #Ukrainian Cash-in-Transit (CIT) vehicles on the pretense that money laundering might be occurring.
“I simply didn’t believe it. I thought it was fake news because I couldn’t imagine something like this happening…Mostly because the whole operation seemed so poorly organized… Like, what is actually happening here?”
