Noticing a long trend in world building content on YT where the overall tone of videos has shifted from "here's how to do this for your world," to "Your $X looks fake; here's why..."
The negativity has become pronounced and consistent, and it's making me really not want to engage with any of it anymore.

@valthonis I find that even the ones with a positive vibe lean more into satisfying pedantry than purpose.
And with that as a base, negativity and prescription are the inevitable destination. "You're doing X wrong" is one of the classic clickbait formulations. 😬
