It is worth recalling that governments otherwise closely aligned with #germany during #worldwartwo tended to balk at handing over any of their citizens to #germany. This effect was offset to some extent by #vichyfrance denaturalising large numbers of recent immigrants - mainly #jews - who it had no compunction in handing over. Not an encouraging precedent!

@ChrisMayLA6 I am in the position of wondering if my wife and kids will eventually lose their British citizenship because of an unwise tweet, comment or other. The idea this is a country based on the rule of law applied fairly to everyone is completely for the birds.
I’m a non Brit so I’m even further down the list of people with rights in this country, despite living here 25 years (I didn’t apply for naturalisation, because what’s the point?). Labour have lost us completely.
