@EUCommission Europe needs also digital independence.

Now US produce strategic digital services like Visa, Mastercard, Microsoft (operating systems of over 90% of computers), digital infra of health care ect.

This must change. Europe and european lives can not be dependent from the good will of digital olicarchs of the US.

We have already seen how US shut down all digital services of the judge of the International Criminal Court. Same could happen to anyone.

@EUCommission Good that (small) majority see that critical strategic areas like space, are critical and strategic.

But public needs to be informed more about all of this. I live in Finland so defence and strategic thinkin is something that I and we have allways done. As US keeps digging deeper into facistic Gilead policy thread might also come from the west. As Greenland case demonstrated. Europe needs to wake up. If we want to be independent.

@EUCommission missing from picture: our defence spend will continue include lucrative trade with a genocidal regime, even though we are in breach of international law and basic human decency.

@EUCommission Maybe something can be to done to support those that want to take a more active role in Ukraine's defence.

Well lets hope some of that money goes into building independence from the US and not just into buying stuff from US defence companies...
