New research suggest legislators under-estimate the public support for green polices, and think a minority of loud objectors to such polices are more typical than they actually are (egged on by a right wing, climate-sceptical media).
This may be the background to the accelerating support for the Zac Polanski led Green Party of England & Wales: at last a politician willing to express views many hold (but Labour is reticent about)

@ChrisMayLA6 This of course an own goal by the so-called " #LabourParty", which has spent 36 of the last 40 years devising ways to listen less to its members and voters and to civic society, and more to big business and big capital. Peter Mandelson exemplified the lack of limits to Labour's wealth-fawning.
Changing this approach would require rewiring the mindset of every current Labour politician. Not happening soon.
