You may or may not agree with The Bear's argument that seeing Trump as a fascist is using last century's political definitions to deal with this century's political problem(s).... but his conclusion may well strike a chord:

'If we keep treating Trumpism as a rerun, we will keep reaching for rerun solutions - and we will keep being surprised when none of them seem to work'!

What that new model of power is, is less clear (although for me, gangsterism is useful).
