Their supercomputer -just finished in 2023- derecho allows them to finally start high resolution #climate and #weather simulations that have been the envy of researchers globally.
« The computing center, which is slated to be turned over to an unspecified third party, runs weather and climate research models and is used by about 1,500 researchers from over 500 universities around the country.
