Why are the young turning away from broadcast TV?
One look at the Christmas schedule will give you a pretty good idea....

@ChrisMayLA6 I remember buying a pile of VHS cassettes then rewritable CDs as so much to record over Christmas. Now I can record on hard drives four simultaneous programmes. But over this year I think only half a dozen recorded.

We haven't even fired up the DVD drive this year, and haven't had recording facilities for years....

I think its a lot more complicated. I think one outcome of the factors is reduced quality.

Yes, outside of the seasonal schedules that's also a key issue - there is still good stuff produced (or at least shown) by the Terrestrial channels, but as a proportion its certainly falling quickly
