Well 30 hours of debugging and I still can’t get Thunderbird to work my desktop PC. There just seems to be some IMAP failure, probably caused by Gmail but only Thunderbird’s funky UI has a problem with it. What’s next? EM Client has a decent price. Mailbird’s hype irks me. Any other choices?
@shoq #Vivaldi has an email client integrated, which is working great for me and my decades worth of emails. Note that it doesn't support local folders (only IMAP folders) - if you love sorting your emails into local folders, it may not be what you like. Then again, using folders for #email is not a good idea anyway.
