You will either be disappointed (or perhaps relieved) to know that across the EU, there is a similar problem of building energy interconnection capacity for renewables as there is in the UK.

While both in the UK & EU renewable energy projects can expand (and have expanded) generating capacity, getting that energy to where it is needed continues to be constrained by access to energy distribution networks.

Renewables are about more than generation!
