@maikel I think that Mastodon leans towards an AI rejecting audience, and probably more towards Europeans than my Twitter followers which are all in on AI and more towards the US.

@mitsuhiko I agree on the first, disagree on the second (location being important).
Twitter is predominantly a right-wing platform, destroy the planet careless crowd, pro-enterpreneruship, not necessarily innovation but pro-trying-new-fads.
Mastodon is clearly a majority lefty crowd, climate concious, hence by default against LLMs.
And I'm saying this as a lefty who uses Cursor to try ideas.

@mitsuhiko I think both groups will meet reach a balance once LOCAL LLMs evolve enough to be usable by low-cost equipment.
