While in Arizona, we wanted to take advantage of the Dark Sky certified areas for night photography. I've never tried this before, but I had so much fun and want to learn more. In this first attempt, it appears that I captured a galaxy. Any expert night photographers that can confirm? It's half way down from the top, closer to the right side.
@thomasfuchs Seriously? That's amazing! I honestly didn't even know I could pick up a galaxy without specialized equipment.
@moopylonster in really dark skies you can see it with just your eyes! It’s just a sort of fuzzy patch though
@thomasfuchs That is very cool. I'm in the northeast, and we have way too much light pollution. So I'm just going to have to spend more time in Arizona!
