Look, I don't want to brag, but I just updated the PHP settings on all my domains. That's right, look who's rocking PHP 8.4 over here, suck it, all you PHP 8.1 losers

@scalzi You're still on PHP? Lame. You'll never be as good as us Perl stans.
@scalzi ooooofancy!
@scalzi I'm not sure to cheer that my favorite SFist is able to do that, or cry that they needed to be able to do that...
@scalzi As a professional sysadmin, I approve of this upgrade.
@scalzi new PHP day is the best. I'm running 8.5 on some of my servers so I can play with the new "pipes" functionality (although I am waiting with baited* breath for 8.6, which fixes a shortcoming with 8.5's implementation, by adding Partial Function Application)
(* cat food works best tbh, especially for dungeness)
@scalzi Oh, I did that, too.
@scalzi
Friendship ended with PHP 8.1
Now PHP 8.4 is my best friend
@scalzi Pfff. The real winners are on ancient unsupported software.
Take me, I rock a fully licensed version of Photoshop 5.5 in my Windows environment. Released when PHP wasn't even at version 4.0
