I know it's scary right now. But unfortunately, we're a minority. And that means the bigots who hold power will always use us as a punching bag.
There is no amount of good will our community can gain that won't be wiped out in a millisecond by one unhinged person.
We see it with Muslims, black people, and every other stereotyped minority.
I don't like violence in any sense of the term. And yeah, this kind of thing exacerbates the rhetoric. But we can't stop it. It's going to happen, sadly. And bigots are going to use it against us no matter what.

@CordiallyChloe I know, but I can still rant about it and hate the fact that this sort of shit makes it harder for normies to see us as a generally peaceful minority that commits violence almost never. I wouldn't be surprised if this puts us above our population size in percentage of mass shootings for the year. The Canada one in particular was their worst mass shooting in years.
