@jeremydmiller Folks are just constantly looking for silver bullets, and folks are always looking to sell a gun that shoots them.
I think it’s yet another cycle in the .NET space to chase those MVP accolades and speaker spots.

The MVP program has done more harm than good overall in the .NET community.
@khalidabuhakmeh Apropos of nothing, I loved him in that role. Both as a straight up bad guy and later as a comic relief quasi good guy
