The cover of Wiz Duo book 3 with stories by Ruthanna Emrys and Andrew Knighton.
The images are an old, wooden house seen against a mountainous background for Ruthanna's story; and a hiker walking towards the sunset in Andrew's.
Next to it is text from one of the stories:
I grit my teeth. "Not everything should be fitted for a gallery space."
"My life is art, man." She waves her ribbons and the bangles on her wrist rattle. "It is important to seize every moment of inspiration."
This is why I almost hadn't invited her. I need someone who will take this journey seriously, who can help me to remember the hard realities of Ben's life and death. Sure, I could have done this on my own, followed Ben's last hike as lonely as he had been. In many ways, I would prefer to be alone with him one last time. But at the end of that hike is something that killed him. If I'm going to face it, then I want someone else whose power I can lean on, or at least someone to call an ambulance.
