@TheDonsieLass It's kind of just crow mindset with anything you use lol. I save a lot of labels, packaging, junk mail, old art, etc. and hoard it so I can turn it into art in a journal (hence junk journal). Think scrapbooking but with less spending

@mdmrn Thank you! I've been liking the 3.0 update. I have the original switch so I don't have as many features, but the hotel is fun for sure. I also like having old villagers come back and say hi

tags.pub/ is a useful service as well.
@[email protected] @[email protected] you can follow tags from across multiple servers by following @ [hashtag you want to follow] @ tags.pub (without the spaces). The service was set up by @[email protected] who helped write the specifications that underpin the Fediverse, so it is trustworthy. If you follow @[email protected], it will broadcast your own hashtagged posts.

@evieissleepy You definitely have a lot more control with this set up, yeah. It does come with a bit more work (ie actively seeking out stuff to follow) without a predictive algorithm spoon feeding you stuff it thinks you'll interact with, but I think that's a good trade off.
