i live next to the teamviewer r&d offices. and i've always wondered because the architecture of that building is weird, it's somewhat office-building, but also not really, and it's in the middle of the inner city. and i knew it used to be a brothel at some point, but i thought these things were disconnected, because the building isn't that old. but no. the building was purpose-built as "europe's biggest temple of eros" (quote from the ~2003 website) in the early 2000s. the open-plan offices? those were the dancefloors. the giant window fronts in the upper stories, through which you can see awkward nerds in ill-fitting business suits? yeah those are for window girls
