PSA: while you may think TempleOS is a haha funny meme thing and Terry Davis a misunderstood genius, you probably have not had to deal with him at his worst, before his story was really known.

I did. I was genuinely scared for my safety with the wild, unhinged shit he would spam my email inbox with. We didn't know back then who he really was or what conditions he had - all I knew was the violent, aggressive, threatening shit he would send my way in bursts (since I ran @osnews and thus was supposed to cover his work). This was early in my OSNews career too, so I was much younger - early 20s.

Yes, we know more now, and yes, I do truly feel sad he didn't get the help he needed. Still, excuse me if I don't find the TempleOS funny memes to be particularly funny.
