Twice, the US claimed it was negotiating with Iran,
& twice it killed Iranian leaders in the midst of them.

In 1953, the CIA & MI6 overthrew Iran's democratic
government & installed a police state that lasted till 1979.
When the Iranian people took back their country, the US
armed Iraq to go to war with Iran & killed 100s of 1000s.
When that war ended, the US continued to destabilize Iran's
government, crush the economy, impose sanctions, etc.
When the Iranians said, “We want to negotiate with you,”
successive US govts rejected it. Finally, Obama et al.
negotiated an agreement.

Iran had said it did not want a nuclear weapon. And for three
years, the IAEA inspected hundreds of times, & Iran was in
full compliance.

And then what happened? Netanyahu & Trump ripped up the
agreement & went back to a hybrid war with Iran.
