As for solar energy tech, it is entering Gaza very, very slowly. Our entire energy infrastructure must be rebuilt, but getting new equipment through the Israeli occupation checkpoints is extremely difficult.

Access to solar energy is extremely limited compared to the massive need. Many families cannot access it at all.
When there is no sunshine, nobody can use their phones or any other electric devices. All other electric infrastructure has been destroy.
This is the reality of daily life here, where even charging a phone has become a daily struggle.

I pay about $1.50 every day just to charge my phone. I can charge it twice a day if the sun is available, sometimes I can’t charge it at all 😞
A phone here is not a luxury. It is our only way to communicate, to ask for help, and to follow the news. It is the only thing connecting us to the outside world.
