Trying to talk myself out of getting a couple of reference works in print. (Primarily but not exclusively more recent editions of ones I actually already do reference on a semi-regular basis; so not ones that would be likely to just collect dust on a shelf.)

It's not working very well.

Prices are manageable, so it's not an obvious rejection based on cost.

Anyone else ever faced the same dilemma? How do you deal with it?
