If this middle east deployment is simply gunboat diplomacy, it sports an expensive price tag for likely little gain. Hence, we can expect military confrontation this w/e or Monday at the latest (based on the deployment of F22s to the theater*)
*premier air superiority fighter in the US arsenal whose deployment has in the past lasted about 4 days (due to a variety of operational reasons) before engagements or repatriation to home base.
