I can't even look at it right now. It's a disconnected mess. No flow at all. It's really sad that after three-and-a-half years, what I have is notes towards a novel rather than a novel.

"Businesses" don't exist where she lives. Everyone helps to provide the basics they need to live--upkeep of the arcology, growing food, etc.--and then does whatever they like with the balance of their time. She always figured she'd eventually coach gymnastics.

I'm able to generate enough "content" to fill a book (70K words and counting), but *sustaining* a story for that period of time is really hard. I'm not there yet. I'm hoping to learn it from this experience.

Definitely. I would love for them to love my writing. The problem is that they know me too well, so they can't not see *me* in the text. They're not wrong, exactly, but that's not the intended reading experience.
